MannKind Corporation (NASDAQ:MNKD) recently announced changes to its executive management ranks, which tumbled the company’s stock in the recent trading sessions. The company announced recently that Dr. Stuart A. Tross shall serve as company’s new Chief People Officer. He has been entrusted with West Coast Facilities, Information Technology and Human Resource obligation. This led to company’s stock falling 0.52%.
Company aims for development
Dr. Stuart A. Tross will report to the CEO, Matthew Pfeffer. Mannkind Corporation said that Tross will work in accelerating the company’s business development. He has been a part of Amgen from 2006 until 2016 and has been serving into different roles there, since then. Dr. Stuart A. Tross has also served as Amgen’s Senior Vice President and also as the Chief Human Resources Officer at the global platform.
Dr. Stuart A. Tross will bring to Mannkind Corporation his Pharma experience from Bristol-Myers Squibb as well. He served in the Bristol-Myers Squibb from 1998 until 2006. Mannkind Corporation can expect extensive management experience from Tross, who comes on board with his biopharmaceutical background.
The company CEO, Matthew Pfeffer said that his experience will be used for facilitating efficient expansion of its Afrezza launch. He shall be used for company’s “strategic initiatives, such as product development and global expansion.”
