22nd Century Group Inc (NYSEAMERICAN:XXII) in its many years of business operation as a plant biotechnology company has directed much of its focus on hemp research and tobacco harm reduction. An official working with the company after attending a business conference opined, “The conference call will consist of an overview of recent business highlights and a summary of the financials presented in the Company’s 2017 Annual Report. Immediately thereafter, there will be a question and answer segment open to callers.”
There are a number of points worth noting at this point in time looking at the company’s most recent business performance. What has gotten the company to its strongest financial position since its establishment was the October 2017 capital raise which ended up producing net cash proceeds of almost $50.7 million.
